“When we stand before the throne of Heaven, what will be our individual testimonies

to our Lord and Savior? Will it be the supreme authority of religious tradition? Or, will it

be the supreme authority of  Scripture? For those of us in the body of Christ

who hold to the supreme authority of Scripture, there is no intent to create traditions

or stories, but to be worthy of the divinely inspired story already written.”

- Dr. William Ayles

The Testimony of…

Jesus of Nazareth

As Jesus hung on the Cross, they placed two signs above His head.

One of these signs read “Jesus of Nazareth”, while

the other read “King of the Jews”.

Matthew 2:23 says, “And He came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth:

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets,

‘He shall be called a Nazarene’.”

There is only one problem, the phrase “He shall be called a Nazarene" does not appear

anywhere in the Old Testament. In fact, neither do the words “Nazareth” nor “Nazarene”.

And so it seems we have a mystery on our hands…

Or do we?

It says in Isaiah 11:1, “And there shall come forth a rod out of

the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots.”

The Hebrew word for “branch” is “netzer” (ונצר)

and has a numeric value of 346

The Hebrew word for “Nazareth” is “Notzri” (נוצרי)

and has a numeric value of 356

“Netzer Notzri” is a play on words know as a Hebrew “pun”.

346 + 356 = 702

702 is the numeric value for the word “Sabbath” (שבת)

Jesus said of Himself,

“…The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.

Therefore The Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”

The First Word of the Bible…

בראשית (Berashiyth) is translated “In the Beginning”

These six letters form a triangle:

ר א

 ש י ת

   1    200

400   10    300

The three letters “inside” the triangle sum to 211

…while the corners sum to 702

The number 211 is the numeric value of “The Word” (הדבר) in Hebrew.

The phrase The Word of the Lord of the Old Testament” in the

Hebrew tongue has a numeric value of 702

  דבר יהוה תנך

The phrase “Jesus of Nazareth” appears in the original Greek text as:

ιησους ο ναζωραιος  (Iesous Nazoraios) and has a numeric value of 2197

“Yehoshua HaNotzri” (Jesus the Nazarene) (יהושע הנוצרי) and has a gematria of 752

I AM the LORD, and there is none elsethere is no God beside me

Isaiah 45:5

אֲנִ֚י יְהֹוָה֙ וְאֵ֣ין ע֔וֹד זֽוּלָתִ֖י אֵ֣ין אֱלֹהִ֑ים

This phrase has a numeric value of 834

Preceding 834 in its first occurrence of pi are the three numbers 752

“Yehoshua HaNotzri”

The numeric string 834 appears at the 1,091st decimal digit of Pi.
                    ^ <-- 1,091st digit

The 688th composite number is 834.

688 is the numeric value “Jesus” when spelled ιησου (Iesou).

752 is also the numeric value of the phrase

“There ariseth Light in the darkness” from Psalm 112:4…

 זָ֘רַ֚ח בַּחֹ֣שֶׁךְ א֣וֹר לַיְשָׁרִ֑ים

which is a reference to The Light, also known as Jesus Christ.

2197 + 752 = 2949

Beginning from position 2949 in pi are the three numbers 999

25 decimal digits of Pi starting from position 2,949:

999 is the numeric value of “As silver tried in a furnace of earth”

כֶּ֣סֶף צָ֖רוּף בַּֽעֲלִ֣יל לָאָ֑רֶץ

This phrase is from Psalm 12:6 where “The words of the LORD are pure words:

as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”

Speaking of pure words…

Beginning from position 2949 in phi are the three numbers 443

443 is the numeric value of ο λογος (Ho Logos), meaning “The Word”

443 is the 86th prime number

86 is the numeric value of אֱלֹהִ֖ים (Elohim), meaning “God”

The 1st occurrence of 443 in e begins from position 373

373 is the numeric value of λογος (Logos), meaning “Word”

373 is the 74th prime number

The 1st occurrence of 86 in pi begins from position 74

The numeric string 86 appears at the 74th decimal digit of Pi.

              ^ <-- 74th digit

373 x 2 = 746

746 is the numeric value of “Jesus of Nazareth” when spelled

יהשוע הנצרי

Yeshua HaNotzri”

Following 2949 in its 1st occurrence in phi are the three numbers 810

810 is the numeric value of παρακλητος (parakletos), meaning “Comforter” (John 14:26)

810 is also the numeric value of φιλος (philos), meaning “Friend” (John 3:29)

Amazingly, there are only seventeen verses in the Bible (KJV) where

the phrase “Jesus of Nazareth” appears:

Matt 26:71; Mark 1:24, 10:47, 14:67, 16:6; Luke 4:34, 8:37, 24:19; John 1:45, 18:5,

18:7, 19:19; Acts 2:22, 6:14, 10:38, 22:8 and 26:9.

The sum of these verses total 6172

(26x71) + (1x24) + (10x47) + (14x67) + (16x6) + (4x34) + (18x37) + (24x19) + (1x45) + (18x5) +

(18x7) + (19x19) + (2x22) + (6x14) + (10x38) + (22x8) + (26x9) = 6172

Beginning from position 6172 in pi, phi and e are the three numbers 112 respectively

112 = יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖ים (YHVH Elohim), meaning “The LORD God”

Out of these seventeen verses, there is only one where Jesus

identifies Himself as “Jesus of Nazareth”…Acts 22:8

In this passage of Scripture Paul is describing his encounter with the Lord on the road to Damascus.

In verse 6, Paul said a light shone all around him and was so great that it caused him to fall

to the ground.  He then heard a voice speak to him, saying: “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?”

“And I answered, ‘Who art thou Lord?’  And He said to me,

I AM Jesus of Nazareth, whom you persecutest’.”

The phrase, “I AM Jesus of Nazareth whom thou persecutest” has a numeric value of 4839

εγω ειμι ιησους ο ναζωραιος ον συ διωκεις

                                                    808   65    888    70  1239    120  600   1049

Beginning from position 4839 in pi, phi and e are the three numbers 631 respectively.

Richard McGough, author of a very great and exhaustive work

by the name of Bible Wheel, found some very interesting links

to the number 631 in relation to the Messiah:

“King of Israel” (Isa 44:6)

 מלך ישראל

“Yet He opened not His mouth” (Isa 53:7)

ולא יפתח פיו

And also these hidden messages in the multiples of 631:

1262 = 2 x 631 = "The Key to the House of David (Isa 22:22)

η κλεις οικου Δαυιδ

3786 = 6 x 631 = “[They] Which follow the Lamb” (Rev 14:4)

οι  τωι ακολουθουντες αρνιωι

5058 = 8 x 631 = “And [I, the Lord Jesus] have the Keys to death and Hades” (Rev 1:18)

και εχω τας κλεις του αιδου και του θανατου

In addition to the seventeen “Jesus of Nazareth” verses, there are two verses where the

phrase is worded “Jesus Christ of Nazareth” (Ιησους Χριστος Ναζωραιος) – Acts 3:6 and 4:10

3 x 6 = 18

4 x 10 = 40

18 comes from the root word “chay”, meaning “live” [H2416] and is very well known

in the Jewish tradition as the number representing “life”.

40 is the numeric value of the phrase “The hand of the LORD” (Ezekiel 1:3)

יַד יְהֹוָֽה

40 is also interesting in that it is the number of days and nights the rain was upon the

earth before the ark could be lifted up (Gen 7:11-17)…the number of days and nights that

Moses spent face to with the LORD God on Mt. Sinai (Exodus 24:18)…and also the number of

days and nights Jesus spent fasting in the wilderness (Matt 4:2).

The Hebrew phrase “forty days and forty nights” has numeric value of 783

אַרְבָּעִ֣ים י֔וֹם וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים לָֽיְלָה

Iesous (“Jesus”) [G2424] has a numeric value of 888

Beginning from position 888 in pi, phi and e are the three numbers 783 respectively

Beginning from position 783 in pi are the three numbers 973

25 decimal digits of Pi starting from position 783:

973 is the number of times “Jesus” appears in the Bible (KJV)

The phrase “Jesus Christ of Nazareth” has a numeric value of 4577

Beginning from position 4577 in pi are the three digits 726

25 decimal digits of Pi starting from position 4,577

ο Μεσσιας (o Messia), meaning “That Messiah” (John 4:25) has an isopsephia value of 726

In pi, the numeric string 726 begins at position 288

                    ^ <-- 288th digit

The totient of “Jesus” (888) = 288

“Jesus Christ” (Ιησους Χριστος) has a numeric value of 2368

2 x 3 x 6 x 8 = 288

The Hebrew word for “The Messiah” is “HaMashiach” (המשיח) and has a numeric value of 363

363 x 2 = 726

Thus, Jesus of Nazareth is that Messiah prophesied about in Daniel 9:25-26…

“Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore

and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and

two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the

prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with

a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”

The “three score and two weeks” was prophesied to be 434 years…the “seven weeks” total 49 years.

434 and 49…

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I AM the Light of the world: he that followeth

me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life.”  (John 8:12)

παλιν ουν ο ιησους αυτοις ελαλησε λεγων εγω ειμι το φως του κοσμου ο ακολουθων εμοι ου μη

περιπατησει εν τηι σκοτιαι αλλ εξει το φως της ζωης

“Light of Life” has a numeric value of 1323

The 434th prime number is 1323

The 49th prime and composite numbers (69 and 227) sum to 296

296 is the numeric value of “for a light to the Gentiles” in Isaiah 49:6, which says:

“And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes

of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles,

that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.”

לְא֣וֹר גּוֹיִ֔ם

Amazingly, to coincide with the 17 “Jesus of Nazareth” verses,

Matthew records the genealogy of Christ within its first 17 verses.

Also, there are 1189 chapters in the Bible from beginning to end.

The middle verse is found in Psalm chapter 117.

There are 594 chapters on either side of the two center verses.

594…center verses…594

In the Strong’s Concordance, # 594 in the Hebrew is:

אנך  'anak {an-awk'} meaning: plumbline, plummet, plumb

and has a gematria of 71.

71 is the mirror image of 17

Containing just two verses, Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the Bible:

“O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord

endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.”

These two verses consists of 17 Hebrew words.

הַֽלְל֣וּ אֶת יְ֖הֹוָה כָּל גּוֹיִ֑ם שַׁ֜בְּח֗וּהוּ כָּל הָֽאֻמִּֽים

כִּ֥י גָ֘בַ֚ר עָלֵ֨ינוּ חַסְדּ֗וֹ וֶֽאֱמֶת יְהֹ֘וָ֥ה לְ֜עוֹלָ֗ם הַֽלְלוּ יָֽהּ

Psalm 117:1 has a numeric value of 1080,

while Psalm 117:2 has a numeric value of 1214.

The difference between the two is 134.

1214 - 1808 = 134

In its first occurrence of pi, the number 134 is surrounded by the numbers 577, 27 and 577 (again):

The numeric string 134 appears at the 627th decimal digit of Pi.

                    ^ <-- 627th digit

27 is the Ordinal value of “light” אור

while 577 is the numeric value of

“He shall gather the lambs in His arms”

בִּזְרֹעוֹ֙ יְקַבֵּ֣ץ טְלָאִ֔ים

Isaiah 40:11

“he that followeth me”…

The phrase “he that followeth me” from John 8:12 has a numeric value of 1645

In its first occurrence of pi, the number 1645 starts from position 26,615

25 decimal digits of Pi starting from position 26,615:

                     ^ <-- 26,615th digit

26 + 615 = 641

Isaiah the prophet spoke of a day when Gods’ mercy and judgment would come.

“And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and

Therefore will He be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you: for

The LORD is a God of judgment:

Blessed are all they that wait for him.”

Isaiah 30:18

The phrase “blessed are all they who wait for him”

has a numeric value of 641

אַשְׁרֵ֖י כָּל־ח֥וֹכֵי לֽוֹ

In its first occurrence in pi, the number 641 is surrounded on each side by the number 21

                     ^ <-- 1,423rd digit

21 is the numeric value of “I AM”

“What is his name?  What shall I say unto them?”

“And the God said unto Moses, ‘I AM THAT I AM’: and

He said, ‘Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,

I AM hath sent me unto you.
