Messiah Son of David

As we draw near to the day of our Lord’s return, I find the

following description of Shavout very intriguing.

John Parsons of Hebrew4Christians says of this Holy Day…

“The period of the omer ends after the counting of seven weeks, or seven times seven (7x7)

days from Passover to Shavout. The symmetry of the count suggests perfection and completion.

The “Jubilee” of Shavout is a climax - first of the revelation given at Sinai, and later with the greater

revelation given at Zion. This is why the sages say that the end of the redemption

process, which began at Passover, will be complete at Shavout,

“For the Messiah is the goal (τελος) of the law for righteousness for all who believe.”

Romans 10:4…

“For Christ is the end [goal] of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
